I've lived here 20 years in Mülheim and enjoy life. For 5 years I am the proud owner of a pizzeria and earn good money, because my pizza is on the route of many construction workers work and eat well. ;)

Even when she was 1 year, we have sent her to kindergarten, because my wife and I were going as fast as possible back to work. One alone would not bring us can. And the parents' money was indeed very modest.

Many of my clients ask me what my favorite pizza is and my answer then are the most surprised, I eat the same favorite classic Margarita. Once a year I go to my family in Naples and eat there, the best pizza in the world, the store is always a huge snake and all the classic Margarita do from this pizzeria.  It appears my passion for writing exponentially increases without any tendency to decrease anytime soon. Or ever. 
Looking back to some key experiences in my younger years, it dawns to me that there were indications everywhere, there was simply nobody to notice them, not even me.
My current output tends to be four 10 1/2" x 8" pages everyday (Collegepad-size, something similar to Din A4), full of ideas for potential characters, actions, symbols, names, dialogues- everything that comes to my mind. And I don't even plan those phases of creativity, it overwhelms me several times a day, leaving me manically scribbling. Sounds so idealistic, but I didn't say every single idea was shining with brilliance. Yesterday, one line was "My food smiles at me", without any explanation. But so it did. My salad had a carrot-smirk and olive-eyes, it was creepy.
My output for words exceeds the output for images by far.
Anyhow, I am not going to let it end with such a diffuse brain bowel-emptying, my writing class instructor (who, after she realized I should've been put in a normal class with Americans instead of getting the special treatment of a stranger, is half-friend half-fan of me) and I are going to participate in NaNoWriMo, the National Novel Writing Month.

That was important announcement #1.
No2 is that I realized that I finally found someone on my eyelevel, a worthy opponent, a mental challenge. There are people that I like a lot because of this and that and because it's pleasant to be with or talk to them. I don't constantly need to compete, a calmness is pleasant too. 
Then there are people being all high and mighty, it's not about an actual competition, you can't win. So it's a constant struggle against a wall. It's either this or that. But now there's someone on eyelevel, what happened?!

Hilarious about this is that Lestrade, yes it's her, and I realized who we are facing while engaging in a cockfight about Watson. Sounds as awkward as it is to John, believe me, she doesn't understand our game at all -but we're having fun.
This girl, that is Lestrade, indulges in predicting movies, solving riddles, competing in witty remarks and playing boardgames/videogames demanding a certain level of intelligence and logic. And she's a Ginger from a town close to New York. Since she and I have a similar wavelength, we got into a constant competition about who's smarter, without the aim to declare a winner, but just for the sake of using our brains and indulging in it. This playful fight is brilliant and we were both rather surprised to have found an opponent ticking the same way, after years and years of being underchallenged. At the same time, we're getting closer and more fond of each other, showing it with small gestures and trivial words, without giving up on that delicious competition. Don't take it the wrong way, it's about friendship, guys. You watch too much gay porn.

I figured out a perfect way to get free energy drinks. I can use my meal-money (saved on a card) for the Outtakes Cafe instead of the Mensa, and the equivalence of 1 meal is 3.50$. I get one Full Throttle and one Pop Tart for that. That's amazing. Today, I skipped lunch and got myself this brilliant combination. Wonderful. I changed my energy drink of choice to Full Throttle, by the way, the amount of caffeine makes much more sense to me, there is no ominous taurine in it, and the flavors are great. Agave, Red Berry and Citrus. Had the first two so far, will try the last one soon.
