Christmas is coming and now is the time of Family. Therefore, I will close on Christmas my pizza, because most people do anyway prefer to eat in German restaurants. Pizza and pasta does not fit into the Christmas season. This experience I did in my early days. When I was working in another pizzeria, I could see that one could hardly sell over Christmas pizza. My boss had let slide all the extra shifts and stood firmly with dismay that we had sold a single pizza and we were too many in the store. Since that time, I know I should prefer the precious time to spend Christmas at home with my family, instead of standing in the pizzeria and wait for customers.
My wife of course very pleased, because she has all year so little time with me. Most of the time I'm in the store and work hard like an animal. There are, however, an annual three-week home leave. Italy in the summer is really there best there is.
My mom cooks every day for us and we can enjoy the sea, the hot, dry air and the Italian temperamento! ;)
